Our environment:
eDirectory 8.8 SP2
OES 2
IDM 3.5.1
JDBC (sync to MS SQL server) & eDir2eDir drivers

Our architecture:
- meta vault
- portal vault (consists of four servers - on two of them the idm engine
is installed and both are in the driverset. One server is "active" (which
means the drivers are running), the second is "passive" (drivers are
disabled)
- JDBC driver ("PORTAL_SOS"), eDir2eDir ("PORTAL_META")

If data is changed in the portal vault by the eDir2eDir driver we get the
following trace:

09:27:51 D3EB4BA0 Drvrs: PORTAL_META PT: DirXML Log Event
-------------------
Driver: \PORTALTREE\services\DriverSet01\PORTAL_META
Channel: Publisher
Object: \METATREE\META\P\I\P1HS (a\g\AT\people\431)
Status: Success
09:27:51 D3EB4BA0 Drvrs: PORTAL_META PT:
DirXML Log Event -------------------
Driver: \PORTALTREE\services\DriverSet01\PORTAL_META
Channel: Publisher
Object: \METATREE\META\P\I\P1HS (a\g\AT\people\431)
Status: Success
09:27:51 D2731BA0 Drvrs: PORTAL_SOS ST:xsl:message -> user object
'\PORTALTREE\a\g\AT\People\431' in scope!
09:27:51 F65C1BA0 Drvrs: PORTAL_SOS ST:Start transaction.
09:27:51 F65C1BA0 Drvrs: PORTAL_SOS ST:Processing events for transaction.
09:27:51 F65C1BA0 Drvrs: PORTAL_SOS ST: ....
09:27:51 F65C1BA0 Drvrs: PORTAL_SOS ST: .... (trace continues)
09:27:51 F65C1BA0 Drvrs: PORTAL_SOS ST: ....

For dstrace we use these settings: "timestamp", 2thread id", "option tag"
(I think these are the default values)
"PORTAL_SOS" ist the name of the driver in the trace. The trace is running
on the "active" server.

All the lines with "F65C1BA0" show the trace of the synchronisation to MS
SQL server and it is working as expected (synchronzing the user object
"431").
The line with "D2731BA0" is the origin of all the trouble. It is the same
JDBC driver and doubling the events to the SQL server which causes errors
in our synchronisation logic.

My question now is - where are these events coming from? Any ideas?

thank you in advance

Michael
