Hi,
this weekend we had an issue where our IV to Corp tree eDir to eDir
driver was down at the Corp end. A password change came into the IV from
AD which tried to send it out to the Corp tree. This of course failed to
synch the password, no remote end, and sent the user an email. It then
continued to try and change the password and sending emails until the
remote end was restarted! The person that received the 2,500+ emails
wasn't too happy!

Clearly we need to get a better monitoring response but the questions
are;
1. why does the eDir driver do this, the AD has a password time out?
2. how can we stop this continual looping behaviour?
