I have written a custom JDBC driver to connect to our MySQL database.
I'm having a weird issue with cached events. It is occurring under my
matching policy, which performs a query on the database based on
Internet Email Address. This is the syntax of the query:

"SELECT databaseid FROM ldaplinks WHERE ldapid LIKE
'judy_loane@symantec.com' ESCAPE '\' ORDER BY databaseid ROLLBACK"

And this is the error it returns:

"You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that
corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use
near ''\' ORDER BY databaseid' at line 1"

I believe it's because it should be "ESCAPE '\\'" instead of "ESCAPE
'\'". This MySQL statement is produced by the driver shim so I can't
alter the statement. Is there a driver config variable or some way to
fix this? Or is this a bug? I've attached the trace in case you need
to see more information. The error is on line 572.
