First of all (before reading below) i'm quite new/n00b to IDM so all
below is based on my limited knowledge of it atm:

I've been working on a sync of groups from a MySQL DB ( phpBB )

for that purpose i've created a view in the DB :

Code:
--------------------

SELECT g.group_id AS pk_group_id, g.group_name, u.username ,u.user_id
FROM phpbb_groups AS g
JOIN phpbb_user_group AS ug
ON g.group_id = ug.group_id
JOIN phpbb_users AS u
ON ug.user_id = u.user_id
WHERE g.group_single_user != 1

--------------------

For now i've managed to sync/create the group(s) from this view but
haven't managed to get all members added....

when i create a group and add a (1) member in the DB the group is
synced, and the member is added to the group.
( ok, that was the whole idea )

But when adding a 2nd member to the group in the DB it's not added..
My guess would be that i need to set iteration through the table to
search out all members and add them
( something like a while/for each loop ?)

2nd thing is :
- on Add i set the DN in command transformation of the member kinda
hardcoded ( set destination attribute = (context + username)

it would be more logical to use the user_id ( that is synched in
IDVault as workforceID for a user) and search out the DN of the affected
userobject

how do i conjure that , every time i work on rules like that i starts
to get a clouded mind due to the large amount of options to add in as
argument.
so a bump in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
