I had a previous thread on this but it went dead so sorry for the double
post!

I need to feed a data into an Oacle table date field called BIRTHDATE and
the input is from a string value in eDirectory called bBirthdate in the
format DD/MM/YYYY

The error I receive is:-

<jdbc:exception jdbc:class="java.lang.IllegalArgumentException"
xmlns:jdbc="urn:dirxml:jdbc">
<jdbc:message>Timestamp format must be yyyy-mm-dd
hh:mm:ss.fffffffff</jdbc:message>
</jdbc:exception>

I have tried the following with no luck:-

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><policy
xmlns:jdate="http://www.novell.com/nxsl/java/java.util.Date"
xmlns:jdateformat="http://www.novell.com/nxsl/java/java.text.SimpleDateFormat"
xmlns:jformat="http://www.novell.com/nxsl/java/java.text.SimpleDateFormat">
<rule>
<description>DD/MM/YYYY</description>
<conditions>
<and/>
</conditions>
<actions>
<do-reformat-op-attr name="BIRTHDATE">
<arg-value type="string">
<token-xpath
expression="round(date:getTime(formatarse(format:new('dd/MM/yyyy'),
$current-value)) div 1000)"/>
</arg-value>
</do-reformat-op-attr>
<do-trace-message level="3">
<arg-string>
<token-op-attr name="BIRTHDATE"/>
</arg-string>
</do-trace-message>
</actions>
</rule>
</policy>

Can anyone help please?

Best regards,
Matt
