I've a Dev environment. I customized NDS driver (ofcourse other drivers
too). I
did export these drivers and import in QA and Prod environment using
iManager.
Now again in DEV, I've modified Driver filter to include more attributes.
again i did export modified driver. Driver export XML has modified driver
filter.
I took this driver and imported in to QA.
Here is what I'm doing.
Select add new driver --> Select the xml file exported from DEV --> When
Wizard
asked me to provide name for driver i select existing driver name so that
this
new driver creation wizard won't create new driver but update existing
driver.
--> in the next page i do select “Update only selected policies in that
driver and policy libraries” and select all policies given below
this. Here I
don't see anything for Driver filter. --> when I go to next page (summary
page)
I don't see anything for Driver filter.
After finishing driver creation wizard when i check the driver in QA, I
don't
see the new attributes in Filter.
I don't know why its not updating Filter but its updating other policies
and
DirXML Library.

the reason why I'm selecting “Update only selected policies in that
driver
and policy libraries” option is My QA environment driver is already
configured, working perfectly. If I select this method it won't overwrite
driver's authentication section (application connectivity details, ID &
Password or KMO object details) so no need for me to reconfigure driver.
this
is the reason why I'm not selecting default option but selecting
“Update only
selected policies in that driver and policy libraries”

thanks
