I'm bulk loading about 30K users into the directory via a JDBC driver. It is taking about 7 hours for every 15K objects and we are only talking about a dozen attributes with no password generation.
So far I've:
1. Turned the IDM Trace off
2. the cache on the eDir looks like it has plenty available with a good ratio
3. I've built value indexes on all attributes that are searched on by matching
Is there anything else I can do to speed it up?
I have a mapping table that it is using, is there a good way to index it's attributes to improve lookup performance perhaps?
Other than that it is a fairly basic driver with minimal rules.
In iMonitor it looks like add entries are averaging 255 ms for the last 1000 operations. Can that be improved upon?
I have plenty of processor and memory available.
Thanks as usual!
