We are using IDM 3.01 connecting AD and SunOne's LDAP with an eDirectory
vault in the middle.. Every now and then the AD server stops communicating
and the AD driver stops with a 9006 error "LDAP_SERVER_DOWN". Does anyone
know a way we can trap this error and send an email/alert to advise the
driver is down? We do this with failed password changes now, is it the
same thing?

Can anyone point me towards any helpful TID's/Doc etc ...
