Thanks Steven - yes I did 2. I'll proceed based on your info of uninstalling and starting again. To be honest I'm very surprised that an application upgrade requires completely re-installing the web server and database layers.
Is it possible to update the documentation to state this more clearly? As I didn't see any mention of this in the migration checklist (https://www.netiq.com/documentation/...a/bfq6ghk.html) or User App Migration doco (https://www.netiq.com/documentation/...a/bmbw11t.html).
