We have a NetWare 6.5 (eDir 8.7.3.7)/Win2k sp4 AD environment with eDir
being the primary authentication. When a user's password expires (in
eDir), they are prompted to change it when they login. Part of the login
script maps a drive to the Win2K server (AD). Once the user changes their
password when promted, the login sequence resumes but the user is promted
for a password for AD (when the drive mapping occurs). Their password
actually synchronizes in AD but there is enough of a delay in the sync
that the drive mapping happens before the password synchronizes. Is there
something wrong with our Password Synch setup or is there a way to insert
a small delay somewhere that will allow the password to synch before the
drive maps? I would like to avoid a delay in the login script if possible.

Thanks for your help,

Jim
