It seems from all of our testing that the pam authenIím having trouble with
our implementation of the fanout driver. It seems from all of our testing
that the pam authentication with the linux using pam_ascauth.so does not
use Universal Password but NDS for authentication. The reason I ask this is
that it does not seem to honor case. Passwords with lower case substituted
with upper case and visa versa are properly authenticated. Iíve gotten the
driver to properly change passwords against our password policy and any
other system which uses universal passwords honors case from passwords
supplied via command line or any other source. Itís just this PAM module
that seems to not work.

Father Ramon (or any other high monk or cleric), is this something that I
should be asking here? If so, is this behavior by design or is there some
setting which fixes this?
