Hello!

We are configuring one-way driver from AD to eDir. Placement policies
are created to add users to 6 different OU in eDir (which correspond
the OU's in AD).

In order to handle to user object move between AD OU's we need to make
a policy to make the moves also in eDir.

Here is a sample policy defined with IDM Designer 2.0.0.
The policy should handle the move of user object when destination (in
AD) is OU=External,DC=Company,DC=COM

<rule>
<description>Move user in AD to OU=External, move also eDir user to
OU=External</description>
<comment xml:space="preserve">16.3.2006</comment>
<conditions>
<and>
<if-class-name mode="nocase" op="equal">User</if-class-name>
<if-operation op="equal">move</if-operation>
<if-src-dn
op="in-subtree">ou=external,dc=company,dc=com</if-src-dn>
</and>
</conditions>
<actions>
<do-move-dest-object>
<arg-dn>
<token-text
xml:space="preserve">"Company\USERS\External\"+Sou rce
Name()</token-text>
</arg-dn>
</do-move-dest-object>
</actions>
</rule>

Should the above rule do the move also in eDir?
Is Command Transform the right place for this policy?

Thanks for any tips & comments,

Best Regards, Harri
