While doing repair operation (ndsrepair -R) on eDirectory we have an option to lock the database, is that mean that it's not possible to query eDirectory ( the server will not respond as database is locked), or the server will be slow to respond ? I need a technical documentation so I can use it as an argument with my customer.
While using "ndsrepair -U", is this operation performs checks and repairs only locally or it can go outside the local database ( checking external references,...)
Does "ndsrepair -U" lock the local databse ?
I need a technical documentation so I can use it as an argument with my customer for all these question.
