We are running IDM 3.5.0 with eDirectory 8.8.1 on SLES. Due to a series
of recent failures, we had to reinstall eDirectory in our development
environment. This went just fine, but now the User Application will
not start because it cannot validate the eDirectory certificate (I
think). We did not reinstall the user application; it runs on a set of
servers separate from the directory servers.

I'm assuming that I need to update the certificate store used by the
user application with a new eDirectory certificate. Is that a correct
assumption? If so, how do I do that?

For the sake of completeness, I've attached the stack trace generated
in the JBoss log when the user application starts up.
