I'm trying to configure the entire user application via the command line as
the server I'm configuring it on does not have a GUI, nor will it ever have
one.

In order to do this properly I have had to install and configure JBoss and
MySQL manually. I've tested that both can run and work perfectly. JBoss is
v4.2.0.GA, MySQL is v5.0.26 and the platform is SLES 10 SP1.

I've gotten to the point where I need to run
/opt/novell/idm/configupdate.sh. When I do, it simply pukes an exception:

java.lang.NullPointerException

com.novell.internal.installer.idm.ldap.LdapConfig. main(LdapConfig.java:164)
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchFieldError:

It appears that a trace level check is in the code, but the value/field
isn't found in the config file. I reviewed the log4j.xml file briefly. There
are TRACE settings in a few places, but I'm not sure what this code is
actually looking for.

Anyone got any ideas?
