Hello all!

I've a JDBC driver that provisioning information from, and to Oracle
database. I need to send the generated password to database field. This
is working but the problem is the password was generated. This is the
password from driver and the string stored at database:

XML of the event with the direct SQL to update the password field:

<nds dtdversion="3.5" ndsversion="8.x">
<source>
<product version="3.6.13.5349">DirXML</product>
<contact>Novell, Inc.</contact>
</source>
<input>
<jdbc:statement jdbc:transaction-id="2"
jdbc:transaction-type="manual" jdbc:type="update"
xmlns:jdbc="urn:dirxml:jdbc" xmlns:jdbc-1="urn:dirxml:jdbc"
xmlns:jdbc-2="urn:dirxml:jdbc" xmlns:jdbc-3="urn:dirxml:jdbc"
xmlns:jdbc-4="urn:dirxml:jdbc">
<jdbc:sql>UPDATE APPS.LOGINS SET PASSWD='T1?5i1;' WHERE USER =
'100171'</jdbc:sql>
<jdbc:sql>UPDATE APPS.LOGINS set active = null WHERE USER =
'100171'</jdbc:sql>
</jdbc:statement>
<modify-password class-name="idm_vantive"
dest-dn="PK_LOGIN=100171,table=IDM_ORACLE" event-id="26-27"
src-dn="mid\ID\100171" src-entry-id="43036">
<association>PK_LOGIN=100171,table=IDM_ORACLE</association>
<password><!-- content suppressed --></password>
</modify-password>
</input>
</nds>

The password generated by the driver is: T1?5i1;

This is the string stored at Oracle database: T15i1;

I can't login at both eDirectory and application with that password.

How can I store or generate the correct password? Will I need to change
my password policy?

Thank you!
