I am implementing an Oracle JDBC dirver on our IDM 3.5.1 system. This
is publisher only fomr Orace to eDir.
I am mapping an Oracle column of 'REGION' VARCHAR2(120byte) to 'S' in
For some users this was failing when the REGION appeared to be null,
On further investigaiton it was not null but a single blank character.
Why would this cause the driver to fail with a syntax violation?
I can manually put a space in 'S' in a user object via console1 - so
why can the driver not do this?
I am not doing anything 'clever' in the driver - just mapping
attributes - so that is happening in the background that may be
somehow trimming this, or otherwise causing the problem?
